Construction and General Laborers’ Local Union 271 (Local Union 271) was founded in 1912 through a charter granted by the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA). Today Local Union 271 represents more than 2,000 highly skilled and trained members performing construction work on all of the major construction projects across the State of Rhode Island as well as maintaining and servicing many Rhode Island facilities.Local Union 271 is dedicated to ensuring that the rights and dignity of our members and indeed all workers, are preserved.

Teams are being formed. House coaches will be contacting players this week. Practices begin Tuesday, November 1. Clinics are scheduled for many House teams during the first weekend. 7th and 8th Grade Boys will play games on Friday, November 4th.

EGBA Refund Policy for all Divisions
For the 2016-2017 season, any cancellation request received on or before October 28th, will receive a refund of the paid registration amount, less a $25 cancellation fee (per each cancelled registration) for participants in grades 3 through 12 and men's over 35 league. There is a $15 cancellation fee for players (per each cancelled registration) in the kindergarten through grade 2 program received on or before October 28th. After October 28th, no refunds will be made.
The Challenger Division is open to athletes from 4 to 18 (or 22 if still enrolled in school with physical or intellectual challenges). There is no cost to participate, and athletes will be issued uniforms to be worn at practice--games onSaturday mornings from 11 am to 12 pm at Cole Middle School. The inaugural season will run from Saturday, December 3 to Saturday, February 25. Registration is through our online system.
